I have a situation where I have an open ceiling tiled hallway and there are 2' x 4' light fixtures. According to NFPA-13 (2007) Sec. 8.6.5.3.3 it seems I need Coverage under a 4' wide fixed obstruction. My sprinklers are 5' above the lights. Do they need to have ceiling tiles in place around it or is there a solution I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
