Pretty much " 'cause Roland says so." What I'm saying is you asked a
question of your peers based on what you felt was a misinterpretation
by this AHJ. The opinions you received mostly support your position. A
member of the correlating committee agrees with your position. Another
member gave you a history of how some of the decisions were arrived at
in committee and that supports your position. Perhaps this AHJ needs
to take this information that he did not have when he made his ruling
and re-examine his interpretation. You can read my previous reply to
David about the AHJ that holds you hostage. And then you can go back
to old posts about the opinions of costs/benefits in fighting AHJs as
has been discussed by this body. I know that every day someone is
changing my mind about how I think about things.
