It's a long story. In a nutshell, their first pick in a licensee overseas
wasn't the right one.

IDOD used to be UL listed and FM approved for use for 1¼" through 2" piping.
Lat I heard, they were trying to get listing through 4". However, I can't find
it on FM Global's listing site. Why is it not available in the US currently?
I used it on a project 6 yrs ago with great success.

Ironically, Allied had trade names of Armadillo and GatorShield at some point
for piping products.

However, at this point IDOD pipe is not available in the USA; they are working
on getting making it available here, date not set.

We'd used it- and as anyone who has seen it- it is a completely different
product than conventional hot-dipped galvy.
In a class by itself and we look forward to its return.

Does it have alligators on it?
