The IBC Code says you have to have 70 clearance in a parking garage. We are having elevation clearance problems with our sprinkler pipe. Does anyone know of a exception to the code that allows you to be below 7-0? Concrete tee construction. Bottom of the tee is 7-3 ¼. Deflector has to maintain a 1 mninimum from bottom of tee. Dry system installed. Any help would be appreciated.
