If it's a head where the SR and QR are on the same cut that ought to be good 
enough.  If it's not I'd call the MFG's tech support and let them iron it out.  
If you went the other way one could argue you have to make sure a QR exemption 
wasn't taken but going SR to QR the only thing that should matter to anyone is 
the K factor, everything else is irrelevant as long as the heads are listed for 
the occupancy.

These don say exactly what the ahj is looking for. We changed 20 SR heads
in one compartment with new QR heads because they were painted or damaged
and now he wants calcs because we did not replace them with exactly the
same thing.

He finally said that if we could show him they were identical except for
response time he would allow them.
