Are you being saddled with determining the Seismic Design Category? Do you have to determine Use Group or Site Classifications too?
I'd shove that back to the Structural Engineer or General contractor, too many factors involved in making the determination. Craig L. I've been using (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/hazards/designmaps/) but recently it won't input the coordinates based on the city and state anymore. I used to use one that worked based on zip code but that doesn't work anymore either. Maybe it's a computer setting? Brian Harris, CET BVS Systems Inc.
