I agree Bill if it wasn’t IMPOSSIBLE to get someone from NFPA on the phone!! 
The best is where they say it make take up to 3 business days for a call 
back.......sometimes literally 1-2 months later I'll get the call back.  Thanks

Regarding AHJ code interpretation issues, my experience is that an informal 
interpretation from NFPA will resolve almost all issues. They can be obtained 
fairly quickly by contacting NFPA. The only exception would be where the local 
AHJ has specific requirements over and above NFPA code.
