When NICET was young (early eighties) we were ceritified 'asslets'-- Automatic Sprinkler System Layout Technicians. The primary premesis was that systems were PRE-ENGINEERED, all spelled out in the several small pamphlets. Only the U of Maryland (Roland?) churned out FP design professionals. There was like one qualified individual per thousand installations.
Nowadays, it takes a PHD in Philosophy, Law, and Theology for all but the 'pre-engineered' stuff. But that's fine- "It's getting better all time" ~The Beatles~ On Jan 23, 2017 5:30 PM, "Roland Huggins" <[email protected]> wrote: > We are in the 2019 cycle so the 2022 is wide open.
