You could add lines inside the freezer and abandon the dry heads. Not a great option, but maybe better than pulling out the freezer?

Unfortunately, there is less than 12" clear space above it so no way to get a man above it to wrench the head loose. When we try to remove it with a head wrench, it refuses to budge. If we break the head, we will be up the proverbial creek.
