Yes. That state agency can be a real pain. I’ve had that happen that my customer stated, just change it to a listed anchor and we will put it in to just make them go away. That’s why I was thinking to have it listed.

The structural reviews are like a proctological exam (sorry Ro) and we have seen ALL manner of comments on hanger, bracing and restraint details, from bullseyes to bull****. The most frustrating thing that they regularly do is confuse bracing and restraints and we are constantly pointing out the difference between a HANGER used in a restraint assembly and an BRACE because they impose EQB provisions on our restraint details. Having repeated the same defense of our details over and over like a mental patient, I assure you that there is no prescriptive requirement that anchorage used in a restraint assembly must be listed.
