Actually, I need to update the version there.
Something for the next days.
But if you install these and start spyder and then open the about
dialogue it should say the recent version.
I will update within the next days.


Interesting... added the ppa, apt-get updated and upgraded, ran spyder... and now it says '2.3.0dev', not 2.2.1 or any similar variant. It also balks at pyflakes 0.6.1 not being >= 0.50, etc.

It's a step closer... at least I can run it from the GUI, not just the command line.
