Like Ho-Sheng says, there is no need to purchase a certificate since all you are doing is encrypting the traffic.I was unable to find anyone that would host SQL-Ledger for a reasonable price though. Eventually I ended up hosting it off of a dsl connection using dyndns.org. It's never gone down and has actually been pretty quick - I haven't encountered any of the problems I thought I would hosting on DSL.
