The "Big Four" banks in Australia have pretty much changed over to Windows
PCs instead of terminals because <sarcasm> ActiveX enabled Internet
Explorer and Outlook is *soooo* much more secure </sarcasm>. I believe
most of them still use mainframe computers for their backends, although
the (former) IT Manager of the Commonwealth Bank was sacked for migrating
the bank to Win NT servers.
