Use a CREATE TABLE statement to specify the layout of your table:
mysql> CREATE TABLE pet (name VARCHAR(20), owner VARCHAR(20),
-> species VARCHAR(20), sex CHAR(1), birth DATE, death DATE);
Is there no gui for this?
Or do people use coldfusion to issue these commands to create the db and tables
and such?
They don't seriously expect you to work in dos to use mysql, do they???
How does everyone go about this themselves when starting a project?
