Hi All,

I suppose this has to be the most boring topic that I've seen on SQLite
listservers for the past 2 years. However, since the switch away from
Yahoo, it has revealed how much I relied on the communication features of
the listserver.

The new listserver is making it very difficult for me to "keep with the
programme". I get some 50 emails per day from various sources and I can't
afford to have SQLite traffic adding to this list. However, I do want to
get a daily digest of what's happening and to contribute if there is a topic
on which I think I can usefully comment.

I'm a Windows (followed by Unix then VMS) guy and I use Outlook to view my
email. The digest comes in the form of categorised headers (good) and a
long list of attachments (bad). Outlook doesn't show me the full title of
the attachments so I have to open every one of them to try and follow a
thread. It's so off-putting, that i would un-subscribe from the list if
there were an alternative way of viewing the listserver e.g. web interface.

I can fully understand the reasons for moving away from Yahoo and I
appreciate the continued efforts of all those involved in providing the new
service. But, it's a retrograde step for me and I suspect for others too.
Okay, I might be the fool on the hill whose input isn't that useful anyway,
but I'd really like to stay involved and the new mechanism is making it hard
for me.

The "reply-to"/"replay to all" debate is too puerile to even comment
on......

Steve
