I, on the other hand, prefer to have a reply-to in a mailing list go to that mailing list. For the rare occassion that I reply to someone personally on a mailing list, I don't mind the extra steps to get their email address. I think what you're going to find with this topic is that you will make just as many people unhappy either way the reply-to ends up being set. It's just a matter of personal preference.
