Hi, Until recently, I would rip all my CDs in MP3, and play them on my iPod and in my home (kitchen + living room) with LMS/sqeezelite.
Now that HDD space is cheap and that I have upgraded my audio installation, I would like to encode my library in both MP3 and FLAC files. This way, I could listen to the FLAC version in my home, and the MP3 version on my iPod. The problem is that some file will be available in both format, while some other one will be available in only one format (FLAC or MP3). For now (with LMS 7.8), if I simply add the MP3 and FLAC files in my LMS library, it would simply create duplicates entries in the library, without any way to distinguish the FLAC from the MP3 version. How do you handle that with LMS? How could I structure my library so that the handling of both formats would be easier? Is this use case supported natively by LMS or via an extension? Thanks for your help! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JF002's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62277 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104882 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
