Squeezelite is not upsampling as stream0 shows output at original of file so cd's are leaving via async usb at 16/44.1 and 16/48 or 24/48 files I have are changing to outputting that via usb so for normal files its outputting 1:1 what file itself contains. The hdcd part apparently decodes to 20bit and pops into 24bit container on the fly (just as squeezelite transcodes dsd to pcm on the fly if dac doesn't do pcm).
Can find options to give squeezelite bit depths and feed it min/max sample rate so can limit to a max of 48/24 without it resampling unless original is higher than that. But nothing I can see to enable/disable hdcd. Will test a few files tomorrow if non hd comes out as 16/44.1 in asouns stream0 and hdcd comes out 24/44.1 then I know its converting or doing something just for hdcd files.
