I am running LMS on a really old (2005) Mac Mini. Amazingly, it seems to run great and has been very reliable. One minor annoyance is that it prompts to update LMS right after you boot. But when you say, "OK" to go ahead and update nothing happens. I think I am running LMS 7.7.2. The Mac Mini is running Mac OS 10.4.
Incidentally, this Mac Mini only has 512M of Ram. All Musc is stored on an external USB drive. I was hoping to upgrade the internal hard disk to a 256M SSD that I have laying around but the Mac HDD is the old ATA style interface! Guess my upgrade options are a bit limited in this case! Anyway, I am not sure I care if I upgrade LMS since the version I have now works OK. Is there any way I can get LMS to stop checking for an update?
