Wow, a PPC mac Mini... I would leave it at that if I were you, even if opening the box is not such of a problem. The little machine that still can is terribly slow by todays standards. A raspberry Pi would be cheaper than a RAM module and considerably faster (except perhaps on random disk IOs)
