This happened to me too. Except it was at 04:00. When I would shut down one audio source, another player (my phone) would take over. When I disconnected iPeng on my phone, the Radio would fire up again.
My wife was convinced the players were possessed because they would play sound clips from my library, particularly Hal from *-2001: A Space Odyssey-*, "I know you were planning to disconnect me and that is something that I cannot allow to happen..."
