I've had this problem for a while on a new server that I set up. Search no longer works except for Advanced Search which isn't always easy to do on my setup. Running 7.9.0 on a Win 10 machine. The library stats show:
Library Statistics Total Images: 0 Total Videos: 0 Total Tracks: 23,708 Total Albums: 4,080 Total Artists: 3,461 Total Genres: 140 Total Playing Time: 1607:31:37 Media Scan Details Discovering files/directories: \\HTPC\My Music (28438 of 28438) Complete 00:10:43 Scanning new music files: \\HTPC\My Music (23496 of 25967) Running 692:46:22 The server has finished scanning your media library. Total Time: 692:57:05 So there's music there. I have tried "Clear Library and rescan everything" several times and no luck. The library does reside on a different computer than the LMS.
