That's a problem that's been around (for me, anyway) through two different server setups since LMS 7.8. I have done all of the suggested steps to check file tags for errors and nothing seems out of the ordinary. In fact, when I remove a file that the scanner seems to hang up on, it just hangs up on another (tried this about 30 times without success).
