Okay then. The standard Windows 10 uninstall routine did remove everything folder wise. It asks at the end of the process if you wish to delete preferences, logs etc.
But installing from fresh again proves two failings:- 1. The common settings found in the web UI & the Control Panel aren't linked. So you have to update library and scanning preferences separately and make sure they match! 2. The web UI is still picking up paths from the previous installation from somewhere??? So, the Control Panel picked up library paths as D:\Users\Music etc. etc. And the Web UI had the same. But when I deleted those paths in the web UI, as that's not where I store my music and started to type Z:\Musi.... It appeared as a selectable full path. The web UI had also added 3 other library paths with all options ticked. I removed those too and Applied the changes. Then I rescanned the library from scratch and applied that too. But flip back to the Control Panel and it's still storing D:\Users\Music etc. etc. So when you ask to rescan from there, it looks at the paths stored in the Control Panel and not the settings just applied via the Web UI. Also, de-selected a raft of 3rd party plugins and many of the Logitech ones too. Alarms recreated, will have to see what happens tomorrow morning as to whether the server shuts down after the last alarm of the day triggers at 07:00. In addition, the installation was performed on an Administrator Account, but clicking the Desktop Control Panel icon displayed the UI with a paragraph in red text saying the settings can't be applied unless it's being run as an Administrator. Why is that? Granted I right clicked that icon and selected 'Run as Administrator' but surely this shouldn't be necessary if it's being installed by an Administrator anyway???
