Yup checked all folders were gone both from ProgramData and ProgramFiles
(x86) is it? Anyway no signs of Squeezbox or Logitech. Even ran a
search for *.prefs and nothing. I didn't check the registry though.

Z:\Music is not naturally a default folder, hence my wondering how the
software is picking this up from installation to installation. If I've
added Z:\Music as a library (shortcut) folder in D:\Users\Music, would
that do it? Still not convinced even if I had, as it came up with the
suggested path of just Z:\Music

In any event, the server remained running after the last alarm of this
morning. So nearly fixed. I say nearly, because for a real like for
like test it should really happen on a day when an alarm will repeat the
next day, and we don't at the weekends ;-)

So let's see what happens after Monday's alarms.

Still no nearer identifying why the server can run happily for months
and then start falling over day after day because of an alarm???
