I get short outages with Hiomeplug and they are between my LMS system and the router. I have done all the usual, reset link on LMS system, unplug cables, unplug homeplug, and reset homeplug but since there is a unit at either end - no reliable soln as one or borth could be at fault. I have Devolo 650 and search for other instances and found this is a problem that has affected a number of users of early Devolo 500 and 650s.
The "best" explanation so far is bad heat management in homeplug - seems to occur especially if period of little traffic is followed by a burst (e.g. open a browser, starting a movie) or more often on warm days.
