wrt Putty - Unlike X - Windows windowing system was not designed to be remote from PC. A long time ago Citrix had licensed access to Windows source code and so did original remote clients. A lot of later Windows remote clients were implemented using the pixels of a windows display. Not sure how today's remote tech works but MS keeps tight control. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108816 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
