Well there is a root user on my TVS-882BR where LMS was installed. I ran
a test using my TVS-663 which does not have LMS installed. Guess what? A
'root' user was not created.

LMS on TVS-663
I don't doubt that the 'root' user is causing the issue running Q'center
but I doubt it is LMS causing the issue. As you can see installing LMS
did not create a root user. I did have Q'center and LMS working but
Q'center stopped working. I agree with KeBul that support is blaming
LMS. I already sent these finding to the QNAP support tech. I have a
Teamviewer session set up for Monday so we shall see what happens.
I already did as you suggested a few days ago and backed up my Cache and
prefs and uninstalled LMS. The root user is still there and Q'center
doesn't work.
Thanks for all of the support. I have no doubt that it is not LMS but I
have to play the game with QNAP.
