You know what would be cool? If I could just have a setting in LMS, which would cause, upon a (re)scan automatically convert the collection to mp3 and update the ones, where the metadata has changed.
Feel free to write a plugin for this...
But really: there are enough tools out there to do this once for good. Why would you want the scanner to re-do this (or even check for changes) upon every scan? It would add considerable overhead to every scan.
It would save so much time (and questions), and it can’t be much more
Some people do count the time the scan takes - in that case I doubt it would save any.
