I have never (knowingly) experienced the issue, and can't add anything
of value. The actual bug report referred to is here:

Were I investigating, I might set the 'Asynchronous DNS Logging' log
level to 'debug' and see if there is some correlation between log
entries and DNS failures. Might be a bit noisy, though, 'debug' seems to
be the only active level for this particular logger. Perhaps you have
already done this.

Actually I'd probably edit the file and see what happens, but I seem to
recall that this might not be an option with an LMS Windows
installation.
