Oh I'm not implying the original fix for bad DNS configuration is not necessary, far from it.
As for logging, I've barely had time. I changed my broadband router and I'm debugging multiple problems. I'm using my FM tuner for Classic FM to avoid this one so it is low priority. I may still end up going back to my old router, gigabit PPPoE and working IPv6 suddenly don't seem as important as they did a few weeks ago. I naively assumed a new Zyxel router would behave the same as the old model just with faster hardware.
