A&A offer two routers: the cheap one without gigabit ports and only 2.4Ghz wifi (of which I have three from historical fault diagnosis), and the more expensive one with gigabit ports and dual band wifi. I got the expensive one cheap because I was one of their first G.Fast customers. Shame the cheap one's NAT seems to work better. A&A are entirely happy for customers to use their own router, or a Linux box with a PPPoE modem (I have a friend that does that), or whatever. But you are on your own setting that up apart from what you need to know to connect to A&A. Whereas the support the routers they sell, at least to the extent they can. My problem is probably such an outlier and so dependent on the Zyxel firmware I suspect there is nothing A&A can do to help me. My plan is still to find a way to tell uTorrent not to open 10000 connections to DHT simultaneously. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Owen Smith's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42371 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110413 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
