I have installed around 10 or 12 powerline ethernet units all are better than the wifi at there locations
They sometimes lose their connections with each other but a power cycle of the units has up to now always been enough to reconnect. A reliable connection with these devices will depend on noise on the powerline, here in the UK we are relativly lucky in this sense.
