Ok. I changed the media-folder to the changed CD. LMS made a complete scan and that was fast:
Ok, so it's not the files. What is confusing me the most is the seemingly inconsistent behaviour. Once the time is spent reading the files, once it's the FTS index creation.
I'm wondering whether there's a problem with one of the file systems. Next time you run a full scan with the full collection, please monitor disk I/O activity. Eg. look at "top" to see whether it's waiting for disk I/O.
