The " 'Connection timed out: Bad file descriptor'." usually indicated SSL issues and software incapable of handling latest https standards. The Windows version of LMS has builtin SSL libraries recently updated but I think 7.9.4 is latest 7.9.* with the update. Better to use 8.0.1 and if you don't want integrated network services/libraries - it can be disabled. Many stations have changed over to https (some with http fallback) and so has some of mysqueezebox.com infrastructure and respositories. So up to date SSL support is a requirement for LMS to run internet services & many plugins. In LMS WebUI Settings/Information check version of IO::Socket::SSL is at least 2.06. If not then you'll see odd symptoms. LMS versions 8.0.0 is release 8.0.1 is bug fix of 8.0.0 8.1.0 is development ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113408 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
