Ah, you're using piCore? The convert.conf is only read once when LMS starts, so you can't change it while it runs and if you reboot, I assume that piCore mounts a RAM filesystem so the convert.conf file you've edited is not persistent. I don't know piCore well enough to tell you where/if the flash is filesystem is mounted, but maybe you can edit convert.conf and restart LMS, not reboot LMS 7.9 on Pi 3B+ & Odroid-C2 - *SqueezeAMP!*, 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB3.
