I am just a general user. I don't know much about the codes of LMS. In my audio setup, LMS is running in a desktop PC of windiow 10 OS , intel i-3 cpu with 8GB ram. My player is Logitech Squeezebox Touch with the latest firmware updated. What I do is just press the "install update" button to get newest LMS server and find my audio system sound different. Then I install previous LMS version before update, the familiar sound on my audio setup comes back. I just don't know what happened. I found LMS is compiled and updated frequently, thanks for maintainers effort. Really appreicated. But If a user guide can be provided for general user about the new functions and the impact that user should pay attention to, that would be good. LMS 7.9.1 sounds powerful but very harsh. LMS 8.x.x sounds soft and less detailed. I am now sticked to Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1550612824 @ Tue Feb 19 23:09:13 WEST 2019 I think this is the one sounds best. I just have no idea about techie things. That's too much for a general user. I have to stressed between LMS version update or restore old version, no setting is touched. Fixed volume always set.
