I have a similar setup with T-Mobile WiFi modem and RBK50 Orbi mesh
(router and 2 satellites). I turned off both the 2.4G and 5G WiFi on the
modem but left the dhcpd on. I connected the Orbi router WAN port
directly to the modem and it pulls an IP address from the modem LAN. I
had to change the LAN IP address range on the modem because it
conflicted with the Orbi LAN IP address range. The Orbi router and
satellites are directly wired to my house LAN so that the Orbis use the
LAN as their backhaul as I find that provides the most reliable
operation. I do not use SB Radios but I have a Touch, SB1, and some
squeezelite clients (a couple of pi zero Ws, a pi 4 and a couple of PCs)
that all work well with LMS over the Orbi mesh along with another 20+
wired and wireless devices.

With this setup I can login to the modem using the house LAN via the
Orbi router if necessary.
