I dug into the web interface for the T-mobile router. I can basically turn off big parts of what it is currently doing. There are 12 SSID's. 1-4 are 2.4 and 5-12 are 5.0.
I played around with only using 2.4 for SB's network but that didn't help. Now, I am wondering if I can essentially turn off the t-mobile router capability by unchecking "enable SSId" and "broadcast SSID" on all those 12 SSID's. The problem with that seems that I won't be able to get to the interface on the web to control anything after the last critical click. My laptop won't be able to get on the Tmobile wifi to control the router. But I was thinking it might be worth a shot to turn off as much as possible on the Tmobile router and trying the Orbi again to connect everything with less interference? Am I being too simplistic? Currently I have turned off and unhooked Orbi to see if SB's stay connected to T-mobile like they used to... If they do, I will turn on Orbi without internet connection and see what that does. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ LovelyBrook's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70083 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114379 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
