Sad though it may be, if there are 3 network music devices side by side in a store - Sony, Philips & Slim. What one do you think the average Joe Bloggs is going to pick?
At least by using the Logitech brand name, there is some recognition by the customer that they are getting a decent product. For non-savvy users, that will be a deciding factor. It's almost impossible to compare the spec of these devices. The Transporter is probably different in that you'd expect people who spend a lot of money on high end equipment to make a more informed choice and the purchasers tend to be more used (in fact probably desire) more esoteric brands. That would be like taking the badges off a BMW. However, the way I see it, the more sales the more money to invest in new features. -- oreillymj ------------------------------------------------------------------------ oreillymj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=699 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31438 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
