In reality, it was Cingular that bought AT&T and knew the AT&T brand name has 100 some years of history... so they absorbed the AT&T name and dropped their own. (My poor cell phone has gone from AT&T to Cingular and I guess is going to say AT&T again at some point.) Sort of like Caldera buying SCO... and destroying the name. Other than that, yeah, I agree with you: I think the 'Slim Devices' name is worth a lot of money / goodwill / namespace recognition. I hope the eventual packaging keeps it there. Heck, I even like the logo. Just add the Logitech logo somewhere on the box so that it's easier to distribute. I still remember the Olympics (1980?) when virtually every ad was for some food product and ended with "Beatrice -- you always knew us." It made me have the reverse reaction: I didn't want to buy any Beatrice food. -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31438 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
