Squeezebox will indeed be branded and packaged as Logitech but not for a
month or two yet. So get your orders in ASAP if you want one with a Slim
Devices logo on the front ;-)

On the international front we're very keen to develop content
partnerships that are worldwide or cover markets that aren't as well
supported as North America - but it's very difficult. Any service like
Pandora or Rhapsody has to do deals with a bunch of record labels for
each country they want to go into. For the US that is viable for all
parties in many cases but Europe means cutting several deals for every
single country . . . and we all know how eager major music labels are
to get their catalogues on the net . . not! So unfortunately the hold
ups are really not something Slim/Logitech can influence. To be honest,
you the music consumer are in stronger position to push the mjor labels
forward. let them know that services like Pandora, Rhapsody et al
aren't eating their dinner but creating sales for more music from a
wider range of their artists. I'm not sure how you do this, but frankly
it's what is needed to get these services into the rest of the world.

Sorry for the rant but I've just back from CES and some of my meetings
involved discussing exactly these issues with our content partners -
sometimes you just want the major labels to just talk to their
customers once in a while. God knows, it's done Slim no harm over the
years!
