Markiwi, I think you will find Slim to be pretty responsive to the issues and people in this forum unusually willing to offer assistance and advice when compared to other product boards--especially if they have detailed info to work with. If you give more information about what you are experiencing, your network environment (connection type, signal strength, whether you are having issues streaming other music, etc it might help to resolve the problem.
Also, in one of the threads referenced above, a user named statman who seems to be with Rhapsody is asking for player ID and specific time the issue occured so that he can pull detailed log info and see if they can isolate the issue. If you can submit that to him it might also help get to the bottom of this. >From my experience I would have to say it may be a bit harsh to say that the services are "incompatible". I have experienced hours of running with no issues at all, and then very, very frustrating times of really poor performance like yesterday evening. I am most disturbed by the fact that the error is causing freezes requiring a power cycle. I hope that they get this fixed soon.
