Hi,

I'm owning my Boom several months, so I went through the registration
by entering the PIN on the website. No problems.

Today I tried to help someone setting up his new Boom. Have done this
by phone, so I don't know in detail. For the registration he had to
enter his email and password. He did it wrong... :( Maybe because as a
new user he was not experienced with the whole handling and the scroll
wheel. He has crossed the age of 70...

Result: His boom is now registered with a non-existant email. An we
don't know the password for the SN account.
The Boom is properly registered to SN and he can listen to radio
stations. But without password we can't access the SN website for
configuring last.fm and so on. He has bought the Boom because of last.fm
support. :(

Is it possible to change email and password directly from the Boom?

Maybe this situation can only solved by the Logitech support...

I think the current registration process should be reworked. Entering
email and PIN on the computer is less error prone then entering email
and password on the device. At least there should be some validation for
the entered email. E.g. after entering the email address on the device
the user receives an email and has to click a link to finish the
registration.

Regards
mfie
