Yes, must contact support, they must delete the player from MySB.
Make sure you email them your Boom's MAC address.

No need to mess with PIN if you:
-  create & register a MySB account
-  enter MySB login info (by computer) onto SBS > Settings > MySB
-  connect player to SBS
-  player is now registered on MySB
-  MySB is doing away with PIN's altogether, dunno if this is true with
the Boom/SB3/Receiver models yet though
