note the "broken scripts".. that's because anything that requires 
register_globals is broken, at least in my opinion, and it appears, Tomas's

none that I use require it.... and they shouldn't, register_globals is a 
security issue and that's why it was deprecated.  Would you care to (off-list 
since we're now off-topic) tell me which 'big php packages' you're using that 
require register_globals to be on?
