While I can see how you'd be upset at the loss of mail, you're targeting your threats at the wrong people. SquirrelMail is an open source webmail application that is free to download, use, and tweak as you want, for whatever purposes you see fit (per the GPLv2 license anyway). This is likely to mean your host has decided that SquirrelMail is such an amazing product (don't blame me, I'm biased here), and decided to use it for their webmail services. This ultimately means that the mail issues you're likely to be seeing are in fact your service providers issue, and definitely not ours.
