Seems, as if the webserver has no access at all to the
directory /home/httpd/squirrelmail/

The directory is a symlink of /var/www/localhost/htdocs/squirrelmail i have all of my sites at the location /home/httpd/

i did try to change the paths to the /var/www/localhost/htdocs/squirrelmail but still receive the same error .. not sure whats happened here..

The user running the webserver (usually wwwrun) needs read-access to
all files and dirs.

That would be apache, and all files are owned by apache..

the src directory has rights as follows drwxr-xr-x apache apache src

the mail squirrelmail dir reads drwxr-xr-x 16 apache apache 712 Jan 14 21:13 squirrelmail

however .. the originallocation has another set of rules.. this may be ther problem.

lrwxrwxrwx 1 apache apache 25 Jan 14 21:11 squirrelmail -> /home/httpd/squirrelmail/

how can i fix those rules?

Regards,

Lenny

Heiner
