Cache create failure - bad code.

I'm trying to set-up sqwebmail on my qmail-ldap server..
I'm stuck getting the error "Cache create failure - bad code." in my system
log every time I try logging in.  what causes this error?
I'm using apache as my webserver.
Thanks in advance for any hints as to the problem.
