I really don't have much choice mate, I need to read emails sent in other character sets other than ASCII.
But, I can definitely gzip some examples for you when I'm back in the orifice. The problems are quite clear, and they should be fairly easy to fix, once someone has had a look at the bad output.
The code is *trying* to do the right things, but there's something simple thats breaking it all.
Any ideas on the other issues?

Typical. :) This is exactly what got us into this mess in the first place.
I guess I'll have to wait til Sam gets a chance to catch up to his email, huh?
